The Process of Invisalign Treatment
The first step in the Invisalign process is a consultation with your dentist. During this consultation, the dentist will examine your teeth and determine if Invisalign is the best option for you. If so, they will create a 3D digital model of your teeth to plan the treatment process.
Using this model, a series of custom-made, clear aligners are created for you. You will wear each set of aligners for about two weeks before switching to the next set. Each new set of aligners will gradually shift your teeth until they are in their ideal position.
Benefits of Invisalign
One of the main benefits of Invisalign is that the aligners are virtually invisible, making them a popular choice for adults who want to straighten their teeth discreetly. Additionally, the aligners are removable, so you can take them out to eat, brush, and floss. This means that you can continue to enjoy all of your favorite foods during treatment and maintain good oral hygiene.
Invisalign aligners are also comfortable to wear, with no brackets or wires that can irritate the inside of your mouth. You will need to wear the aligners for 20-22 hours a day, but you can take them out for special occasions or when you need to brush your teeth.
